In 2019, I read the Meditations of Marcus Aurelius and decided I needed more from this philosophy.

I did a Google search and discovered the College of Stoic Philosophers. I devoured all of their free content, especially enjoying the work of Mr. Erik Wiegardt, the founder of the College.

I finished the SES course, their basic course, in late 2019, and spent 2020 immersed in their advanced one-year program. I loved every minute of it and felt I had found what was lacking in my life: a philosophy of life.

During that year, I also joined the Stoic Monastery, especially enjoying learning about the Daimon.

In 2021, I completed my practicum and became a mentor. Stoic mentoring became my main focus for the next three years, from 2021 to 2024. At that point, I took a break to focus on other projects I had been wanting to explore.

I never left Stoicism completely, though. I continued teaching a Stoic student here and there.

In 2025, I joined Erik in his new creation, the College of Posidonius, a movement that pushes the boundaries of Stoicism and tries to establish a fourth branch within the system: metaphysics.

Today, in 2026, I’m active as a mentor with both Colleges and as a Forest Monk in the Stoic Monastery.
